Tekifi was founded by Mike Arnold and Conor Cleary to bring a new standard of clarity, quality and accountability to Smart Buildings, BMS, ICT and Security consulting. After delivering some of the world’s most advanced buildings, they created Tekifi to offer something different – a founder-led model where senior experts stay hands-on throughout every stage.

Every project is overseen directly by both directors. This gives clients fast decisions, clear communication and a delivery approach that always keeps occupant experience, operational efficiency and long-term value at the centre.

Mike and Conor combine engineering depth with a collaborative, people-focused style. They run workshops, align stakeholders, uncover the real project needs and ensure that what is promised is delivered.

Mike Arnold

Founder & Managing Director

Mike Arnold is a Chartered Engineer and Co-Founder of Tekifi, bringing more than 20 years of global experience in Smart Buildings, mechanical and electrical systems and high-performance building technology. With a career spanning roles as client, consultant and contractor, Mike offers a uniquely balanced perspective that guides projects from vision through design, construction, commissioning, and ongoing optimisation.

Before founding Tekifi, Mike led the EMEA Smart Buildings Division of an international consultancy, overseeing some of the worlds most ambitious technology-enabled buildings. His project portfolio includes major developments in Ireland, the UK, Europe and Australia, reflecting nearly a decade spent abroad delivering complex engineering and smart building programmes.

Mike recently directed the delivery of Coopers Cross – Ireland’s first SmartScore Platinum building – setting a new benchmark for integrated building systems, user experience, and smart readiness.

Mike holds a B.Eng (Mechanical) from the University of Limerick and an MBA from London Business School. At Tekifi, he brings deep engineering rigour, calm leadership, and a commitment to understanding the client’s perspective at every stage of the journey.

Conor Cleary

Founder & Technical Director

Conor Cleary is a global expert in Smart Buildings and Intelligent Workplaces, recognised for integrating electrical, mechanical, controls, security, and IT systems into seamless, future-ready environments. With more than 20 years in building technology, he is known for combining technical depth, practical delivery expertise, and exceptional stakeholder engagement.

A specialist in IoT, cloud platforms, building analytics, and digital experience solutions, Conor ensures every project is grounded in user needs, operational simplicity, and long-term adaptability. His work spans greenfield developments, major refurbishments, technology masterplanning, and the digital transformation of existing buildings.

Conor led the smart building strategy and delivery for A&L Goodbody’s Dublin headquarters, where his early involvement in the technology masterplan proved central to its success. He is widely respected across the industry and has spoken at leading global events including ISE in Barcelona and NexusCon in the United States.

He holds a B.Eng (Mechatronic) and is both SmartScore AP and WiredScore AP.
